Wedding Wednesday: The Engagement Party

Engagement Tea Party – Saturday 19th September 2015 Last Saturday we held our engagement party at our house, we spent the day with around ...

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup Challenge.

I purchased this at the weekend as my skin is really doing my head in at the momento! Really spotty for some reason and not just in the normal hormonal zones! I spoke to the lady at Clinique and she said that this would probably be the best one to try out as it offers medium/full coverage, it's oil and fragrance free and it's got ingredients that help to treat existing spots.

I thought that i'd do a little challenge and wear this everyday for the next month and see if it makes any difference to my skin. Hopefully it will!

I'm liking it so far, it feels nice on my face and it's really long lasting. The colour (VF 01 Alabaster) is also a good match for my skin, maybe a little dark but I just make sure I blend it down into my neck well. I have also noticed that it keeps my oiliness at bay all day which is a plus.

You can buy it here for £21, but I got it from Boots for £20.50 :)

  1. your skin looks great in the photo...Ive never had pimples or anything so i really dont know what thats like...but it must be hard to find good makeup that doesnt make it worse

  2. My skin is bad and I found any of the Estee Lauder foundations have helped me. Let us know how you go with this one though.

  3. I've heard about this foundation but haven't tried it yet! I've had bad pimples in the past, and your skin looks nice in the piccie!

  4. @Alex I think it looks good because of my iPhone camera being a bit rubbish lol, but yep it's hard finding foundation that doesn't makes spots worse!

@Green Tea and Cupcakes I've always wanted to try the Lauder foundations but don't have a counter near me!

@R I'll keep you updated on how it's going :) Will do an update post next week sometime
