I Like It

I can't type the words 'I like it'  without thinking of Trevor Lock singing them on the old Russell Brand 6 Music Podcasts... I digress. But if you're a fan of Russell definitely check those old podcasts out, they are amazing.

Anyhoo.

I adore this product! It's one of those hot cloth cleanser type affairs and is such a treat to use, it smells amazing and melts away makeup like nothing else I've ever tried. It really is like a mini facial you can perform in your own bathroom; that takes less than 5 mins!

You get one muslin cloth included and 125ml of product and it costs £10.20

Pros

-It lasts ages! I've had my tube since about February and it's still going strong!

-It hasn't broken me out or anything.

-It leaves my skin nice and rosy and glowy and so soft! I don't feel the need to moisturise after using it my skin feels so nice.

- It really gets rid of all the makeup, you can see it on the muslin cloth (I kind of like seeing this, is that weird?)

- The scent is really calming and just nice, I think it smells like green tea or something herbally like that

- You can use tissue/cotton pad to take it off if you're in a hurry or your muslin cloth is in the wash!

- I use it on my eyes and it doesn't irritate them at all

Cons

- It's a little bit pricey but definitely worth it!

I would definitely suggest you try this if you're looking for a new cleanser, and if you have any of those Boots £5 off premium skincare vouchers hanging about you can get it for just over a fiver! Bargain.

Have any of you tried this? Or any other hot cloth cleansers?

This sounds like a dupe of the Liz Earle one! I'll have to put it on my wishlist. :)

  3. Oooh, I struggled with this cleanser when I bought it- it was the smell that put me off. Like you say it's a great cleanser, but there was something a bit clinical about the smell for me. Isn't it funny how smell is such a personal thing?!
I also bought mine with the £5 skincare voucher- bargain!

I use the No7 one and love it- and I always have a good look at all the makeup on the cloth afterwards too! If it's not covered I know I need to scrub a bit more!xx
