FOTD featuring MAC Cream Colour Base in Virgin Isle

FOTDMACVIRGINISLE
fotdmacvirginisle2
Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix – 51 – Light Vanilla
Eyes: Bourjois Light – Shade 03
Lips: Collection 2000 Cream Puff – Fairy Cake
Cheeks: MAC Virgin Isle Cream Colour Base
As you can see, when blended in the Cream Colour Base isn’t nearly as ‘in your face’ as in the swatches! It’s actually a pretty wearable shade that will look lovely in summer. I used a duo fibre stippling brush to apply the product to my cheeks and only needed to dip the brush into the product once to get enough to do both cheeks. The product sets on the  skin meaning it lasts an age, whenever I wear this it’s the only product left on my face at the end of the day.
Check out my review of Virgin Isle here.

  2. AAAAH you're so pretty. I just bought a stippling brush but it must be a crappy quality one as the hairs keep falling out and getting stuck to my skin :( soo annoying!

    1. Maybe give it a wash and see if that helps? x

  3. this looks really pretty. I love a good natural look, it just goes to show that you don't have to have loads of colour everywhere to stand out and look good. You just look really pretty and your skin looks very healthy and that's what I like to do with my everyday makeup :)

    1. Thanks love, I think every day make-up needs to look natural really then it's funner when you do something special and wear dramatic make-up! x

  4. I'm not even sure what is a color base? Is it just like a blush? I'm such a MAC noob LOL!

    1. It's a cream product that can be used on the lips, eyes and cheeks (although some are not eye-friendly!) :) x

  6. Thanks so much for doing an FOTD, I couldn't imagine how that would work on the face but it's lovely and so subtle! Really suits you!

    1. Thanks love, it'd be easy to overdo it though! Had to be very careful! x

  7. That is super nice. I need new foundation. The stuff I'm currently using is the lightest shade they make and it's too dark. Ugh. I'm the palest girl in Florida lol.

    1. I have this problem too! I have to mix a white foundation into the lightest shade as it's not pale enough! x
