SIX ON SUNDAY #17

I’ve loved Bloc Party for a long, long time and this song from the Silent Alarm album is a new favourite. I’ve always disregarded it in favour of some of the classics that are on that album but I think it’s one of the best songs on there now that I’ve given it a chance. It’s just nice and chilled out and relaxing, perfect bath music.

TV or BOOK| The Lottie Project – Jacqueline Wilson
I bought this in a charity shop yesterday as it was one of my favourite books when I was a child, I’ve just started re-reading it and it’s just as good as I remember! Paid £1.75 for it though! Bit steep for a charity shop!

PRODUCT| L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
This product is amazing, I’ve been popping it on to my hair before washing it and it makes my hair so lovely and soft! It adds some much needed moisture and vibrance into my hair. Look out for a full review at some point in the near future!

EVENT| Last day of work!
Summer holidays are finally here! I’ve been counting down since about Easter! Blogging will be on the increase as I have nothing else to do for 6 weeks.

Plastic Bat is another one of those jewellery shops that sells acrylic jewellery – my favourite. I love the cameo necklaces in particular, and also the glitter pieces. Everything is really reasonably priced and shipping is only £2.50 (for purchases under £25) so that’s a Brucie bonus isn’t it?

The lovely Hannah writes Two Grazed Knees and I was lucky enough to meet her a couple of weeks ago at the blogger meet in London. I have been reading her blog for a long time now though and I love it as there’s more than just beauty/fashion, Hannah also lets us know her opinions on current trends (50 Shades…) and you can tell she’s an extremely intelligent person.
