I did this make-up a few weeks ago for a night out; I had been looking at images of all those 60s girls with the dark eyes and pale lips and was completely inspired to try it for myself.

I used Illamasqua Skin Base as a foundation with MAC Blushbaby as a blush/contour shade. I used MAC Subculture lip liner on the outside of my lips with a nude shade from my Laura Mercier Lip Watercolours palette on the inside of my lip. On the eyes I used a matte black and shimmery charcoal grey from a Sleek palette (Bad Girl possibly!?) all over the lids and then blended out with a reddish plum shade from the same palette. On my lashes I used Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash mascara, such an amazing mascara!

I kinda like how it turned out, what do you think?

  3. Woahhh the really dark eye-shadow works so well on you. I always end up looking like I've been punched in the eye but this looks so striking and gorgeously blended. Cx
