August Favourites

augfaves

Face| Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2in1 Wash/Mask

This stuff is a lifesaver when your skin is being temperamental, I used to use it daily but got out of the habit of it as it’s a bit messy and I can’t be dealing with messy at 7 in the morning. But as I’ve been on summer holidays I’ve had time to wash my face properly. I use it as a cleanser and a face mask and I also use it as a spot treatment when any unwanted nasties pop up on my face. I think it’s only about £4 too, so such a bargain.

Eyes| NATorigin Black Eye Liner

I posted about the NATorigin eye liners here, and ever since I first tried them it’s been true love. The black is super pigmented and creamy and stays on the waterline for a good 4 hours or so. It smudges out really nicely too and I just wouldn’t be without it now.

Lips| MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick

My old friend, Ruby Woo is my home girl. The perfect red lipstick for pale girls, it’s blue toned so makes your teeth look whiter, and it’s such a rich red colour that it really pops on fair skin. I also love that it’s a matte formulation – my favourite! It stays on for hours and never looks too much even in the day time. There is a swatch of it in this post.

Hair| L’Oreal Elnett Hairspray

I’ve been styling my hair a lot more in August, again probably because I’ve had more time to get ready before I go places. Therefore my hairspray use has increased, before I never actually used hairspray unless I was going out at night – I’m usually more of a messy hair type girl. The Elnett hairspray is lovely, it smells just like sophisticated women on the train. I like that it keeps my hair looking the way I want it to but without being heavy or making my hair go crispy, it’s also really easy to brush out at the end of the day.

Nails| OPI Mermaid’s Tears or ORLY Ancient Jade

I’ve been loving wearing milky turquoisey shades on my nails throughout August, and these are my two favourites – although looking at them together, they look exactly the same! I just love the way they look on the nails, a pop of colour but nothing too bright.

What are your August favourites?
