September Favourites

September was the month of going back to work and getting back into the routine of the daily grind after a month and half holiday, not my favourite of the months. Being back at work has left me unorganised in my blogging life as I really struggle to manage my time effectively when I'm working, I have lots to do for work when I get home and then I want to blog too, sometimes I feel like I don't have time to actually sit and relax. So this month I have taken a bit of break from posting everyday to have a rest when I finish work; my job can be pretty stressful sometimes and I'm not the kind of person that just sails through work on other peoples efforts, I'm quite pro-active and like to do the best I can for my students. Having the little break has been fab but now I'm all ready to make October a good blogging month and have Paperbacks & Postcards be like it used to be.

September Favourites

My favourites this month are pretty simple, I haven't really been any where too exciting to wear extravagant make-up and I haven't been testing out many new products so I'm sure you've seen some of these products before.

Illamasqua Cream Pigment - Hollow
Cheekbones in a small quadrilateral pot? This product is fabulous for contouring if you've got pale skin, I pop a little bit underneath my cheekbones and blend it in and voila I look sculpted. I've also used this product on my eyes as a cream shadow/base and it works really well in that form too.

 Miracle Skin Transformer - Translucent
I've been loving using this as a primer recently, it's fab at smoothing out the skin and filling in any visible pores. It also keeps my foundation and blush on all day long at work, this has never happened before!

Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Marvel Gel
The best exfoliator that I've ever used. I'm popping a post up about this later in the week so I won't say too much, but if you're given the opportunity to try this product definitely do!

MAC Blush - Melba
A lovely natural coral blush that isn't too loud but is just bright enough to give my cheeks a healthy glow.

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
This mask has become one of my favourites, it smells amazing and does a brilliant job at brightening the complexion. I use it weekly and I can definitely tell the difference after, I'll definitely continue using it and will repurchase it  when it's all gone.
Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion - Eden
I've been using this every day as my eye base, the neutral shade makes it perfect for early morning make-up application, I just whack it on and blend it out. I dust a little translucent powder over my eyelids and I'm good to go, the pigment in this product really evens out my eyelids so I don't feel the need to wear eye shadow.

My Glasses - Missoni
Probably my most favourite 'favourite', I have wanted glasses my whole life and this month I finally got some. I'm loving wearing them everyday at work and it's really fun to try and find out which make-up works with them. I also have another pair of glasses as they were 'buy one get one free' but these are my favourites.

What are your favourites for September?
