REVIEW: Lee Stafford Breaking Hair Treatment

061

Lee Stafford – Breaking Hair Treatment - £10.99*

I’ve been trying out the new range of hair products from Lee Stafford for about a month now (I’ve almost used them all up!), the new range is focused on ‘Breaking Hair’ or hair that is damaged, dry and over-processed – which is a pretty good description of my hair to be honest. My hair has been dyed for over 10 years and is curly and frizzy so to find products that can detangle and defrizz it is a particularly tricky task, let alone a product that promises to repair the damage!

The whole collection of products has been designed to rescue those of us with damaged hair and leave us with hydrated, healthy locks. The products promise to make our hair healthy right from the core by injecting it with all the necessary vitamins to repair any damage done by dye or heat. The result being sleek, healthy salon perfect hair (that everyone else is jealous of…)

The Breaking Hair Treatment is a super intensive conditioner that works from the inside out; the Pro-Repair complex of Soy, Amino Acids and replenishing lipids restores the hair cuticle while also rehydrating and moisturising the hair. It is best to use this product in between shampoo and conditioner, this leaves the hair feeling amazing!

I’ve been using this every time I’ve washed my hair over the last month or so and I’ve been very impressed with it, mostly because of it’s ability to detangle my messy mane! It leaves my hair smooth and shiny and I’ve had lots of compliments on how sleek my hair looks – even when it’s curly (normally it’s a frizzy mess!). The treatment is quite a thick consistency so a little bit goes a long, long way and even if you do use a bit too much it doesn’t weigh your hair down or leave it feeling greasy. I’ve used the product on my roots and ends and I’ve never had a bad experience with it, but it’s best to focus on the ends of the hair as that’s where the most damage is. I must also mention that this product smells absolutely divine, it’s really highly fragranced and the scent lingers in the hair for hours after you’ve used it.

The product is quite expensive at £10.99 but I will definitely be repurchasing it, I’ve just ran out and my hair is longing for it!

Have you tried any of the Lee Stafford products?

  6. This sounds pretty great. I'm debating having my hair permed - I'm bored of how it currently looks... So I'm definitely looking at deep conditioning treatments in prep for (and after) that ahah. xo

  9. This stuff has transformed by over-processed, highly damaged, coloured blonde hair from weak, brittle and limp, to healthy and sleek with a mirror shine I've not had for years! I've used every expensive salon only treatment you can pay for, including all the big brands but none worked as well as this. It's brilliant!

  10. Hi. I straighten my hair weekly and I have tried a variety of products but the ends of my hair always manage to get white and split. My hair is not course. It does shine and is soft however the ends are extremely damaged and this stops me from reaching my goal of waist length hair. Do you think this product will help me?
