There’s a new beauty box in town and this one has a difference, instead of a box of random samples arriving on your doorstep each month beautecobox allows you to choose from 3 different boxes to make sure that the box is suited to you! This certainly gets rid of the element of dread that I know I’ve felt in the past, especially when skincare is involved, of receiving a box full of anti-aging products. But I guess it also eliminates the element of surprise too? Although if I’m paying over £10 for a sample box I’d rather know what I was getting than have a surprise. beautecobox costs £10 (+ P&P) by the way, which is average for this kind of service. The value of the items in the box well exceeds this too, there are at least 5 items including 1 or 2 star items (full size, I think) and 3 or 4 trial size samples.
I received my selected beautecobox a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed, I love the branding/packaging, the font selections and little doodles are so cute and are exactly the kind of thing that pushes my buttons. I picked Menu 3 which included 2 Anatomicals products, a Mitchell and Peach Body Cream, Dr Bragi Age Management Moisturiser and Melvita Cleansing Oil. I selected this box mostly for the Melvita product, I’ve heard a lot about the brand and am really eager to try out a cleansing oil. Perfect. I was shocked to find that the Anatomicals products were so huge, they’re a brand that I’ve never tried but I do always admire their punny product names!
If you’re on the look out for a new beauty subscription service I’d definitely recommend this one, you get to choose which products you receive and you’re guaranteed a smile when you see their quirky packaging.
