Favourites: June 2013

June Favourites

And so begins July. June seemed like a long month to me, how was it for you? I’ve been using pretty much the same products that I featured in last months favourites with a couple of changes. We’ve had some lovely warm weather over the month of June and my make-up picks this month reflect that, I’ve got a couple of skincare favourites and one technology fave too. Let’s go!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo - On and on Bronze

1| Maybelline Colour Tattoo – On and On Bronze

I’ve been loving just sweeping this across my lids and blending it out for a really simple eye look. It’s perfect for work and these Colour Tattoos have really good staying power.

Max Factor Lipstick - Bewitching Coral

2| Max Factor Lipstick – Bewitching Coral

I am in love with the coral colour of this lipstick, it’s bright but not too bright. The formula is lovely too, it’s a sort of satin finish with great staying power but a hint of shine. I normally blot the shine away as I prefer matte lips but it’s nice to have the option. I love wearing this with bronzey eyes and nude cheeks. Perfect summer make-up.

L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution

3| L’Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

I use this product every evening and morning. In the evening it’s used as a pre-cleanser to remove make-up, especially my eye make-up which can be a pain to get rid of sometimes. It does a great job at melting away every trace of product and I only have to use one cotton wool pad with it. In the mornings I use it to freshen up my skin and wake my eyes up (anyone else do this?!) to stop me falling back to sleep! I then follow with toner and moisturiser and my skin is primed and ready for make-up.

Garnier Moisture Match Moisturiser Dull Skin

4| Garnier Moisture Match – Dull Skin

This is the moisturiser I’ve been using every day lately, only in the mornings though. It’s a sort of gel formula which is really light and hydrating and sinks into the skin super easily. You only need to use a tiny bit to cover your whole face and neck and it leaves the skin glowing. I love the effect this gives and it’s perfect for wearing under BB Creams in the warmer weather, it’s also fab on it’s own if you’re having a good skin day. The glowiness really makes you look healthy and alive!

iPad

5| Petunia my iPad

So, I bought an iPad Mini. She’s called Petunia and I love her. I had an iPad 2 for a bit and I never used it because it was quite heavy to carry round all day in my bag. The iPad Mini is so much lighter though and I’ve become attached to Petunia, I use her for blogging and tweeting, editing photos and browsing the internet. I take her to work every day with my To-Do List on and I’m just finding it so useful that I couldn’t be without it now.

What have you been loving this month?
