Maxi Dress – Bon Prix - £24.99 | Biker Jacket – Bon Prix - £29.99 | Sandals – New Look - £7.99 | Hat – ASOS - £12
The first outfit is quite different to anything I'd normally wear but I think it would be ideal for wearing on the last day of a festival or on the way home. It's a super easy outfit to wear with the maxi dress being the main focus, I decided to add minimal accessories with just the hat and jacket. It wouldn't be practical for wearing in the crowded areas of the festival site though, or visiting the loos! Best kept for lounging around the tent or in the car on the way back.
Pinafore Dress – Topshop - £38 | Striped Shirt – New Look - £12.99 | Cardigan – New Look - £9.99 | Converse – Schuh – £60
Outfit 2 is a little bit more 'me' I love the pinafore dress paired with the striped shirt under it, it would look so adorable! I added the Converse for practicality - good sturdy shoes are a must for festivals and they are comfy too. The cardigan is for when it gets a bit chilly later on in the evening.
Denim skirt - £10 - Miss Selfridge | Striped Tee – New Look - £7.99 | Cardigan – New Look - £9.99 | Doc Martens - £100 | Hat – ASOS - £12
I love this outfit, it's the kind of thing I always see people wearing and wish I was too. The denim skirt is a fab shape and it has pockets for putting your cider in! I love the striped tee paired with the red cardigan, so casual but yet still cute. Topped off with the hat and Doc Marten boots for combatting the mud!
Festival Fashion Wish List
There are still a couple of the big festivals still to come this summer, with V Festival being this weekend, then Reading and Leeds next week and Bestival at the start of September. I thought I’d put together a dream festival wardrobe, I’ve posted about my experience at festivals this year (here and here) and although I only went in the day time and didn’t camp that didn’t stop me preparing a whole wish list of items to take with me. Above are my favourite clothing items for a festival where there’s no mud/rain/5 mile walks, so not entirely practical but still fun anyway. I’d also make sure to pack lots of socks and leggings/tights, as well as a waterproof coat and a small bag.
Which outfit is your favourite?
Are you off to any festivals this year?
