September Favourites 2013On to the next one, another month nearer to Christmas. September’s over, thank God, I hate September because it signals the start of work for another year and the beginning of the ‘ill’ season. I’ve ended September with a nasty case of the flu, I was stuck in bed for 3 days last week because it hurt so much to move my neck and back. Feeling better now though, woop! This month I’ve been loving the same basic things as every month, my Dr Jart BB Cream and Clinique High Impact mascara are still number 1 but I’ve got a few new things to mention too.
I picked this brush up a couple of months ago from TK Maxx for under a fiver, I always check the brush section in their for Eco Tools brushes as they’re my favourites. I’ve been keeping this retractable kabuki brush in my bag to use with my powder throughout the day. It’s really nice and dense and applies the powder evenly giving a really lovely finish on the skin.
No7 don’t make this concealer any more but from the description on the website I’m guessing the Match Made Concealer is pretty similar, I have a No7 voucher in my purse at the moment so I might investigate this tomorrow. This concealer is amazing, it covers blemishes and dark circles easily and it blends really well. I’ve had this hidden in my work bag for months now and hardly ever used it but I’ve been using it every day. I really hope that the Match Made concealer is the same because I really love this concealer.
I received this in my Love Me Beauty Box this month and I’ve been loving it since I first started using it. I’d been after a new foot cream for ages and this is perfect, it sinks in quickly and smells nice. It leaves my feet feeling nice and soft and is just a really lovely product to use. My feet don’t seem to be as dry as they used to be either so it must have some lasting effects.
This has been a firm favourite of mine for a couple of years now but I’d forgotten that I owned the little solid version of Vanillary, I found it in a bag the other day and it’s been coming everywhere with me since then. I much prefer the scent in the solid version, I also have the spritzer, as it seems a bit sweeter to me. The perfume is so warm and comforting, it’s a really sweet vanilla scent that reminds me of vanilla fudge. It lingers on the skin for hours and hours and it’s always nice to get a hit of it when you’re walking along somewhere.
Fudge Urban Dry Shampoo*
I received this Fudge Urban Dry Shampoo from the Handpicked Media London Fashion Week Suite a couple of weeks ago and it’s been the only dry shampoo I’ve used since then. It’s really nice, it doesn’t leave a white cast and it gets rid of any oiliness at the roots. It smells pretty good too! I can’t seem to find a link to it anywhere but it’s available at Superdrug I believe.
What have you been loving in September?
