New In: Imperial Leather Foamburst Body Wash

Imperial Leather Foamburst Luxurious Bodywash

The new Imperial Leather Foamburst Body Washes are amazing, I used to use them years ago when they were first launched but the new formulation is fab. They are body washes which are dispensed as a foam – kind of like shaving foam, this makes them feel very luxurious on the skin and a little bit goes a long, long way. You get enough product for 40 washes in one can – bargain! You can also use the product as a shaving foam, so you don’t have to have too many products cluttering up your shower.

There are seven new fragrances available and the clever folks at Imperial Leather have linked each of them with a Foamburst Genie. Each of the genie’s has their own unique personality which is linked to the fragrance that they represent – so depending which fragrance you pick you can learn a little more about your genie. Can I just add that all seven of the genie’s are very nice to look at. I think that this is a great way to get people involved with the new product, check out the website to decide which genie you like best!

I’ve been trying out two of the new fragrances: Moisturising Honey & Almond Milk and Uplifting Lime & Grapefruit. The honey and almond scented body wash is perfect for evening showers, the scent is so lovely and relaxing and it really calms me down. The scent stays on the skin for hours after a shower so it continues to soothe you even when you’re tucked up in bed. The lime and grapefruit scent was fab in my morning shower today, the scent is invigorating and really wakes you up. It leaves you feeling ready to take on the day and the zesty lime smells nice all day long.

Here's a peak at Tempo, the genie for the Uplifting Lime & Grapefruit scent, he's certainly got zest!

Check out the other genie’s on the Foamburst website, I like the look of Sebastian!

Love Me Beauty Box: June Edition 1

Love Me Beauty Box: June Edition 1 - £12.95*

This month Love Me Beauty turns 1 year old, and what a year it’s been. There have been some fab products included in the boxes and I’ve definitely found some new favourites because of it. This months box does not disappoint either, five fab products that I can’t wait to try out.

If you’re new to Love Me Beauty it’s a monthly subscription service which releases three boxes each month for you to choose from. Each box contains five products which are usually a mix of full size and sample size – more often than not the majority of the items are full size though. It costs £12.95 per month, including shipping within the UK.

I’m impressed by the products that were included in Edition 1 this month, three make-up products and two skincare. I perhaps wouldn’t have chosen the shades that I received in my box but I understand that a lot of people are neutral fans. The lip gloss is a lovely nudey pink on the lips and tastes nice and sweet. The nail polish will be perfect for jazzing up interview nails as it’s a neutral shade with very subtle shimmer. The eye shadow palette has a good range of colours and I can’t wait to give it a go, especially loving the look of the bronze tones. I’m a big fan of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks and I’ve never tried one of their fabric masks before, can’t wait to pop this on before bed tonight I bet it’s going to smell amazing. The Purifying Day Cream has come at the perfect time too, I’ve just ran out of my usual daily moisturiser so I will be putting this to the test straight away.

New In: Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel

Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel

Organic SurgeTropical Bergamot Shower Gel - £4.35*

Another fab product from Organic Surge, the Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel is the perfect shower gel for the warmer weather. It has a lovely fresh scent which has a fruity undertone which isn’t too sweet, I’ve been using this for my morning showers since I received it a few weeks ago and it certainly helps with waking me up.

The shower gel is suitable for all skin types and I haven’t noticed any dryness or sensitivity whilst using it, in fact it makes my skin feel soft and smooth. It contains Organic Aloe Vera, Bergamot Essential Oil and Sweet Orange to make sure that the skin is soothed and any dryness is eliminated.

This shower gel is perfect for the summer and I would definitely recommend it, I also love the Citrus Mint shower gel by Organic Surge for fresh morning showers.

Nails: Zoya Wendy

My favourite shade of nail polish in spring and summer is coral, Wendy by Zoya is the perfect pinky coral. I’d never tried a Zoya polish before as I’d never seen the brand in store in the UK – I’ve heard a lot about Zoya from American YouTubers though. The polish applied like a dream the colour was opaque in one coat but I added two to deepen the colour a little. There were no streaks or bubbles to contend with either. I will definitely be seeking out some more Zoya polishes.
Wendy is a new shade from the Tickled SS14 collection, there are 6 shades in the range which all have a cream finish and a variety of bright colours.
