Book Haul

Hello again,

Just lately I’ve really got back into reading, I think it’s because I’m on my summer holidays from work and I have nothing to do so don’t feel guilty by indulging in a bit of afternoon reading. I rarely my books from a bookshop or Amazon but I can’t help myself when I visit a charity shop, especially the charity shop near my mum’s house where all the paperbacks are 40p or 3 for £1! Bargain. Here’s what I’ve picked up from there recently:

A bit of a varied selection but pretty much all of them have been on my book radar for a while now. 019

I was particularly excited to find the first two books in the Peter Grant series by Ben Aaronovitch and I’ve already started to read Rivers of London.

Death Comes to Pemberley is a book I’ve wanted to read since I saw the TV adaptation a couple of years ago, I really enjoyed that so hopefully the book will be even better.

The Caitlin Moran book was all over blogs and Twitter when it first came out and everyone was raving about it, I’m really interested to read it and see what everyone was loving so much.

The Hundred –Year-Old Man… book is another that I’ve heard a lot about but I haven’t even read the blurb so I have no idea what it’s going to be like.

The Greatest Knight is a historical fiction book that I usually enjoy reading, I’m looking forward to seeing how it will compare with the others I’ve read.

Have you read any of these books?
